BC Accreditation Pilot ProjectsThe LSCABC is developing four Accreditation Pilot Projects, one with 72 competencies that is testing a version of the ALSCO accreditation process and three alternate processes that are unique to the LSCABC. The results and outlines of all four systems will be offered at the 1997 AGM for selection or recommendation of further study. At this time, any individual currently a member in good standing is asked to consider piloting any one of these models. As a "pilot" project, the eligibility criteria may be reduced or waived, with the understanding the model is being tested and a piloting of the model would not warrant accreditation. It is rather an opportunity to give feedback on the effectiveness of the model.
